Bajirao Mastani, have crossed over to Hollywood, Deepika padukone will star opposite Vin Diesel in XXX The Return Of Xander Cage.

Bollywood's glamorous girl are all set to take Hollywood by storm in 2017. The talenthouse called Deepika Padukone, a lot to prove to the West with her Hollywood debut.

With the stage set, cameras rolling and social media going overboard with sneak-peeks into the film sets, Deepika's Hollywood debut has already become the talk of the town. Ever since the viral photo of Deepika and Vin broke the internet in December last year, fans have never been able to get enough of the two hot actors. This crossover from Bollywood to Hollywood has left her fans excited and intrigued at the same time. Though the Tamasha actor's role in XXX franchise has still been kept under wraps, her look in the film has already set the bar of expectation pretty high.

Photos from the sets of film have become a daily dose of entertainment for enthusiastic fans. Every move, every still, every video from the sets is adding a new chapter to Deepika's much-hyped Hollywood debut.

DEEPIKA – PRIYANKA FRIENDSHIP (BAJIRAO MASTANI)

Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone’s bonding that is evident in the Pinga song from Bajirao Mastani. It’s got all to do with their friendship that dates back to the time when Deepika Padukone entered the industry. Priyanka was the first film person revealed Deepika and said She was a huge star. She was the first friend she made. The two actors were so comfortable shooting for Pinga song that it troubled a few people because it went against what a lot of people thought it would be , The actors thought that the People expected there would be a lot of tension regarding what the actors wearing. It was completely different .

Like soul sisters, Priyanka and Deepika would be there for each other always on sets. The actors would encourage each other if there was something difficult. There were days when the duo wanted to give up and there were days when the duo came in with the same kind of energy. It’s been a lot of fun for the two of them to work together. Deepika had earlier said that her co-star Priyanka was her first friend before she made her acting debut in Bollywood.
The Piku star has her own set of friends who are not from the industry.

The duo have even appeared together on Koffee with Karan and they seemed to be all praise for each other. Deepika's film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela and is currently shooting for Bajirao Mastani, which also features Deepika. the two seemed to bond well on the sets of this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film and were often spotted laughing and chatting on sets.

There has been a lot of talk about Deepika Padukone meeting Ranbir Kapoor at his new apartment. Meanwhile Deepika flew down from Canada to Sri Lanka to meet her school friend’s destination wedding. It is not just her that we spotted in the wedding, but the rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh alomg with Ujjala Padukone.

 “Deepika’s dad Prakash Padukone who couldn’t attend the wedding in Sri Lanka will fly out to spend some time with her in Aprilin Toronto, Ranveer Is expected to join them too” says a source. Deepika looks stunning and sophisticated in the black dress. These two lead actors won the Best Jodi Award for “Bajirao Mastani” while receiving it “This is for best Jodi and the better half of the Jodi is not here right now. But I convey your wishes to her. I have the most beautiful woman by my side. Thank you everyone.” She will be shooting some intense scenes during the month of April hor DL Caruso’s Hollywood movie “XXX:The Return of the Xander Cage  with her co-star Vin Diesel, Ruby Rose and Nina Dobrev. The movie that is planned to release in 2017 has been receiving some attention

Deepika and Ranbir chemistry OnScreen

The 30 year old actress, Deepika Padukone has starred in quite some box office hit movies where we saw her act alongside the top actors like Amitabh Bachhan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and more. But the chemistry on screen between Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor has always brought the crowd to the theatres. 

He  was contracted by Yash Raj Films for a primary role in the Siddharth Anand-directed romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008).The film was his first commercial success, in which his role was that of a womaniser who is romantically involved with three women, played by Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba, and Deepika Padukone, at different stages of his life.Rachel Saltz of The New York Times expressed mixed views on his performance, but predicted that his "puppy-dog sweetness" would "serve him well as a Bollywood leading man".

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a 2013 romantic comedy film, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. It stars Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles. This is their second film together after Bachna Ae Haseeno. Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur play supporting roles. Madhuri Dixit appears in an item number titled "Ghagra" with Ranbir Kapoor. Initially set for a March 2013 release, the film was released on 31 May 2013. Upon release, it received mixed to positive reviews and was a huge box office success. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has become the eleventh highest grossing Bollywood film of all time in India and worldwide. It is also the tenth highest grossing Bollywood film in overseas markets.  Taran Adarsh of bollywoodhungama.com noted that it "is a revitalizing take on romance and relationships. A wonderful cinematic experience, this one should strike a chord with not just the youth, but cineastes of all age-groups." They also received Audience Choice Best Jodi of the Year 2013 in IIFA Awards 2013.

Tamasha is a 2015 Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film score and soundtrack album was composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics from Irshad Kamil. Filmed briefly in Corsica, Indian cities–Shimla, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata; followed by two-day schedule in Tokyo, Tamasha tells the story of character Ved Vardhan Sahni (played by Kapoor) whose selfish cant find an identity through the monotone social conventions and expectations. The film portrays Ved's life in three stages–as a nine-year-old child, a 19-year-old adolescent and a 30-year-old adult in a drama-based non-linear screenplay. The film was released on November 27, 2015 to mixed reviews by film critics. However, they praised the performances of lead actors but criticised the unsatisfactory togetherness of the plot. The film received nominations for direction, music and performances of the lead actors, notably Kapoor being nominated under Filmfare Award for Best Actor category and Irshad Kamil winning the Filmfare Award for Best Lyrics for his lyrical work to the soundtrack album of the film.Critic Mehul of Deccan Chronicle stated, "Imtiaz Ali, in this film, creates a different world and makes you believe in it till the last shot of the film." Surabhi Redkar of Koimoi pointed out, " Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone deliver fine performances."

If they made more films together, the box office numbers will speak for them.

A simple yet Different perspective

Long gone is the satement that male actors are the Heros of the film. Actresses like Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have given Bollywood a new trend to look out for with movies like "Piku" and "Barfi". 

“I think the biggest thing Deepika’s done is changing the definition of success for an actress in India,” says Anirban Das Blah, chief executive officer of talent agency CAA Kwan that manages Padukone’s brand.

“Before she came along, success (for a female actor) was about being number one, it was dependent on box office, or the names of heroes you were acting opposite. I think that whole conversation has changed and it has changed because of her,” he says.

“Good actors like her, as in those who want to be known as artistes have realized they have to come up with meaningful stuff,” agrees Piku director Shoojit Sircar. “It can’t just be about song-and-dance, the delivery has to be performance-based.”

We got to watch Deepika with Amitabh Bachhan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and more. It would be an interesting to watch if Deepika was paired with Hrithik Roshan. We may not catch Deepika or Priyanka in Bollywood movies for the next two years with the shooting and promotion of thier Hollywood movies. But until then let us just hope.

The 30-year old actor, Deepika Padukone who is currently filming with the Hollywood action icon Vin Diesel, was offered Fast and Furious 7 with him in 2012 but had to turn it down owing to prior commitments. But it was only a matter of time before something worked out. The actress has earned her role because of her previous performances in her movies. As she got more movies, she also got more specific on what kind of roles she would play. It is not just her that is getting opportunities in Hollywood, But, Priyanka Chopra has been rumoured to cast in "Baywatch" which is dated for release in 2017. Though they were rumours about them not getting along, the actresses are in good terms.

In an interview with a leading daily, Priyanka Chopra was asked how she feels about Deepika Padukone's big leap, she said, "I last spoke to Deepika after I saw Bajirao Mastani and I was super excited. At that time, she was on a vacation and it was very late in the night when I spoke to her.''
Priyanka Chopra further added, ''I haven't had the chance to speak to her again after the news of her Hollywood film but I am very happy for her. She is a great artist and a total movie star. I am sure XXX will be good for her in the same way as it will be good for the movie to have an actor like Deepika."
Deepika Padukone too has some really good things about Priyanka Chopra in the past. Not many people know that Priyanka was Deepika's first friend in Bollywood. Talking about Priyanka, Dips told a daily, ''Priyanka was the first film person I met when I came here. She was a huge star. I had just joined. She was the first friend I made.'' Deepika Padukone further added, ''We were so comfortable shooting for Pinga song that it troubled a few people because it went against what a lot of people thought it would be.''
“Deepika is a talented actress, and talent transcends geography,” says Tracy Brennan, Padukone’s agent at Creative Artists Agency in California. “Hollywood is increasingly looking to produce films with strong international appeal.”
These two young women are busy shooting day and night. Let's hope these movies goes well in the box office.

Deepika Padukone’s Road to success

Deepika had a good start with Cocktail, where her works were praised and gained more attention for her acting in 2012. In an interview with The Indian Express, Padukone said that her starring role in Homi Adajania-directed romantic comedy Cocktail marked a significant turning point in her career. Raja Sen of Rediff.com opined that she had successfully proved to be a "stunning girl who can also act." Set in London, Cocktail tells the story of a software engineer (played by Saif Ali Khan) and his relationship with two temperamentally different women-an impulsive party girl (Veronica, played by Padukone) and a submissive girl next door(Meera, played by Diana Penty). During the script narration, the producer Dinesh Vijan offered Padukone the choice of which woman to play; she decided on Veronica to expand her horizons as an actress. Portraying the role was a creative and physical challenge for her, and to achieve the physical requirements of her character she exercised extensively and followed a rigorous diet. Critics were divided in their opinion of the film, but particularly praised Padukone's performance; Devesh Sharma of Filmfare credited her as the "soul of the film" and wrote that she "excels in every scene, whether as a material girl who enjoys sex, drugs and rock and roll or as the jealousy ridden girl out to destroy herself." Cocktail earned Padukone Best Actress nominations at several award ceremonies, including Filmfare, Screen, and IIFA. The film proved a box office hit as well. After struggling with the five films she starred in failed to become a box office hits, the movie acted as a stepping stone for further successful movies and roles that gave her more scope for her acting as well.
