Deepika talked about her breakup with an ex-boyfriend.She said the first time he cheated on me, I thought there was something wrong with me or the relationship, but when someone makes a habit of it, you know the problem lies with him. Bollywood’s top diva, Deepika Padukone, is the daughter of India’s former badminton champion, Mr. Prakash Padukone. He got initiated into Badminton by his father Mr. Ramesh Padukone

Deepika’s mom is more concerned about the safety of her younger daughter Anisha as she needs to travel to Delhi regularly due to her Golf tournaments.

RANVEER-DEEPIKA’S VACATION

It’s obvious that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have had a hectic few months with Bajirao Mastani, but now that they’ve completed their promotional round, the two have taken some time off to spend the holiday season together. While there’s been a buzz doing the rounds for a few days now that they’ll be taking off for a much-needed holiday, sources have revealed to us where they’re headed!

The two will be vacationing in Malé, the capital of Maldives, and word has it that they’ll be staying in a villa at a luxurious resort.

Here’s hoping they have a great trip.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh slogged hard for almost a year with the shoots of their respective films and thus were off to an undisclosed location for their much-deserved break.

With the lovebirds not openly admitting to their relationship, it was obvious that the two wouldn't reveal their holiday plans! And though we still don't know where the couple ringed in their New Years, from their latest pictures it is pretty evident that it was a Beach Holiday!

At a recent award function, Deepika and Ranveer looked all sun-kissed in their pictures, flaunting their tanned skins. Going by that, it seems the lovely duo had an enjoyable holiday with lot of sea, sun and sand.

DEEPIKA’S EMOTIONAL SPEECH IN IIFA

After slaying the box-office with a stupendous performance in Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer won Best Actor for the film. Padukone, who was nominated for both Piku and  Bajirao Mastani, won it for playing the perfect daughter to a constipated nagging old man in Shoojit Sircar's Piku. We aren’t surprised, are we?

After sweeping the most prestigious award of the season, the evening turned overwhelming for Deepika. When an actor gets validated for the efforts that are put in, it's bound to feel good. This is the second Best Actress trophy for Deepika after she won for Raam Leela in 2013.

While many actors thank the entire cast and crew, family and co-stars, Deepika dedicated the trophy to her parents. Unlike other actors, DeePee read out an old letter her father had written to her, years back, as her acceptance speech.

"If you love what you do nothing else matters, not even awards. Follow your heart and live your dream. You are our daughter and then an actress."

Deepika hugged her dad Prakash Padukone and this sight left the audience teary-eyed. Another high point for Deepika was receiving the trophy from none other than Rekha.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Deepika Padukone went on stage to collect her Best Actress Trophy at the Filmfare Awards on January 15.
Dressed in red, Deepika went on stage to accept the award which celebrates her stellar performance in Piku, a film about the relationship of a young woman with her father. She felt it was only fitting then to read out a letter from her father, Prakash Padukone, as her acceptance speech.Fighting back tears, Deepika read out the letter which talks about Mr Padukone's early badminton days and his refusal to complain or whine about challenges.Dedicating her award to her parents, Deepika ended her speech with a promise to parents all over the world on behalf of all children - words that fetched her tremendous applause from the audience and a standing ovation from Bajirao Mastani co-star Ranveer Singh.

RANVEER AND DEEPIKA’S RELATIONSHIP

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have learnt to keep their private life to themselves instead of sharing it with the world. They don’t kiss and tell anymore.. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone don’t believe in using their relationship to gain media mileage. They enjoy their personal time with each other,but never make a big deal out of  it.

Be there for each other. It took Deepika and Ranveer a while to finally be seen together in public. But now that they have gone public with it, there is no looking back. Ranveer and Deepika have been there for each other during all the crucial moments of their lives. When Ranveer had sustained injuries while shooting for Bajirao Mastani, he had to undergo a surgery for the same. Deepika was by his side all through. The actor, too, is always available for his ladylove, Ranveer took a day off to be present for Deepika’s dad’s birthday.

The duo never hesitate from experimenting on-screen. Despite their packed schedule and back-to-back releases, the duo makes time for each other.
