The movies, Deepika Padukone had refused!!!!

 Deepika Padukone, a fine actress who has bagged many 100crore movies since her debut, Did you know that this actress had turned down many blockbuster movie roles? You didn’t? Don’t worry, we have that list for you:

1.     Jab tak hai jaan 

Rejecting an YRF movie surely needs a lot of courage and Deepika shows the same when she opted not to do Yash Chopra movie. The role then went to her rival – Katrina Kaif. The same repeats with Dhoom 3.

2.     Roy

Rumours says Dips turned down the role in Roy which had her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal because the actress chose not to do the thriller to be produced by Bhushan Kumar because of the already heavy work load at hand. Well, Jacqueline did gain from this rejection.

3.     Shuddhi

Director and Producer Karan Johar had approached Deepika for the lead role in his upcoming movie venture Shuddhi, but she had turned down that offer and chose to work in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali Production ‘Bajirao Mastani’ alongside Ranveer Singh

4.     Dhoom 3

Deepika was considered for the role of Alya in Dhoom 3. But for reasons unknown , she had apparently passed the role in the Aamir Khan Blockbuster, which Katrina Kaif had played an appreciative role in.

 

Well, a surprising fact that we have noticed is that Deepika padukone had refused five roles in movies starring Salman Khan. Quite a surprise, right ? Deepika says that she does what to do a movie opposite the Dabangg star Salman Khan, but it should be for the right role at the right time. And those movies were:

a.      Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

b.     Kick

c.      Sultan

d.     Jai Ho

e.      Bajrangi Bhaijaan

f.      Sher Khan
