Deepika Padukone is all set to rule Hollywood after her successful run at the Bollywood's box office. The Bajirao Mastani actor is all set for her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel in XXX The Return of Xander Cage. And just months after signing her first Hollywood film, Deepika has reportedly also signed her second film opposite The Fightclub star Brad Pitt.

The Tamasha actor is currently in Toronto, Canada shooting for XXX The Return Of The Xander Cage with Vin Diese and the whole XXX team. While Deepika plays the role of Serena, Vin Diesel will reprise his role of Xander Cage in this third installment.

DEEPIKA PADUKONE, HRITHIK ROSHAN TO WORK TOGETHER

Deepika Padukone will be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in Sajid Nadiawada's next project, according to Indian media reports. Sajid Nadiawada might cast Padukone opposite Roshan in his next venture, directed by Kabir Khan.

Sajid has been quite keen to work with Deepika. But that hasn't worked out due to several issues. However, there are chances that Deepika might sign up for his next production with Kabir. However, there is no official confirmation on that. The film is in the scripting stage.according to Nadiawada  Padukone is currently busy with her Hollywood debut movie - Vin Diesel's " XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" - while Hrithik is filming Ashutosh Gowariker's “ Mohenjo Daro” historical drama.  

The "Bang Bang" actor has worked with Bollywood's top actress Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. However, it will be first time Roshan will be sharing the screen with Padukone.

It is not first time reports about Deepika-Hrithik's on-screen pairing surfaced. Recently, some media reports suggested that the duo might work together in a Yash Raj film.

Deepika Padukone was born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Konkani-speaking parents. Her father, Prakash, is a former badminton player of international repute, and her mother, Ujjala, is a travel agent. Her younger sister, Anisha, is a golfer. 

Padukone has admitted to being socially awkward as a child, and did not have many friends. The focus of her life was badminton, which she played competitively from a young age. Deepika woke up at five in the morning, go for physical training, go to school, again go for playing badminton. Padukone continued to pursue a career in badminton throughout her school years, and played the sport in national level championships. She also played baseball in a few state level tournaments. While concentrating on her education and sporting career, Padukone also worked as a child model, first appearing in a couple of advertising campaigns at the age of eight.In 2004, she began a full-time career as a model under the tutelage of Prasad.

Padukone shares a close bond with her family, and visits them regularly in her hometown of Bangalore. Deepika has also been outspoken on issues such as feminism.In a 2015 interview, Padukone spoke about her personal experience of overcoming depression, and in October that year she launched a foundation to create awareness on mental health in India, named "Live Love Laugh”.

RANVEER-DEEPIKA’S VACATION

It’s obvious that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have had a hectic few months with Bajirao Mastani, but now that they’ve completed their promotional round, the two have taken some time off to spend the holiday season together. While there’s been a buzz doing the rounds for a few days now that they’ll be taking off for a much-needed holiday, sources have revealed to us where they’re headed!

The two will be vacationing in Malé, the capital of Maldives, and word has it that they’ll be staying in a villa at a luxurious resort.

Here’s hoping they have a great trip.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh slogged hard for almost a year with the shoots of their respective films and thus were off to an undisclosed location for their much-deserved break.

With the lovebirds not openly admitting to their relationship, it was obvious that the two wouldn't reveal their holiday plans! And though we still don't know where the couple ringed in their New Years, from their latest pictures it is pretty evident that it was a Beach Holiday!

At a recent award function, Deepika and Ranveer looked all sun-kissed in their pictures, flaunting their tanned skins. Going by that, it seems the lovely duo had an enjoyable holiday with lot of sea, sun and sand.

DEEPIKA’S EMOTIONAL SPEECH IN IIFA

After slaying the box-office with a stupendous performance in Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer won Best Actor for the film. Padukone, who was nominated for both Piku and  Bajirao Mastani, won it for playing the perfect daughter to a constipated nagging old man in Shoojit Sircar's Piku. We aren’t surprised, are we?

After sweeping the most prestigious award of the season, the evening turned overwhelming for Deepika. When an actor gets validated for the efforts that are put in, it's bound to feel good. This is the second Best Actress trophy for Deepika after she won for Raam Leela in 2013.

While many actors thank the entire cast and crew, family and co-stars, Deepika dedicated the trophy to her parents. Unlike other actors, DeePee read out an old letter her father had written to her, years back, as her acceptance speech.

"If you love what you do nothing else matters, not even awards. Follow your heart and live your dream. You are our daughter and then an actress."

Deepika hugged her dad Prakash Padukone and this sight left the audience teary-eyed. Another high point for Deepika was receiving the trophy from none other than Rekha.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Deepika Padukone went on stage to collect her Best Actress Trophy at the Filmfare Awards on January 15.
Dressed in red, Deepika went on stage to accept the award which celebrates her stellar performance in Piku, a film about the relationship of a young woman with her father. She felt it was only fitting then to read out a letter from her father, Prakash Padukone, as her acceptance speech.Fighting back tears, Deepika read out the letter which talks about Mr Padukone's early badminton days and his refusal to complain or whine about challenges.Dedicating her award to her parents, Deepika ended her speech with a promise to parents all over the world on behalf of all children - words that fetched her tremendous applause from the audience and a standing ovation from Bajirao Mastani co-star Ranveer Singh.

RANVEER AND DEEPIKA’S RELATIONSHIP

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have learnt to keep their private life to themselves instead of sharing it with the world. They don’t kiss and tell anymore.. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone don’t believe in using their relationship to gain media mileage. They enjoy their personal time with each other,but never make a big deal out of  it.

Be there for each other. It took Deepika and Ranveer a while to finally be seen together in public. But now that they have gone public with it, there is no looking back. Ranveer and Deepika have been there for each other during all the crucial moments of their lives. When Ranveer had sustained injuries while shooting for Bajirao Mastani, he had to undergo a surgery for the same. Deepika was by his side all through. Bollywood's glamorous girl are all set to take Hollywood by storm in 2017. The talenthouse called Deepika Padukone, a lot to prove to the West with her Hollywood debut.

With the stage set, cameras rolling and social media going overboard with sneak-peeks into the film sets, Deepika's Hollywood debut has already become the talk of the town. Ever since the viral photo of Deepika and Vin broke the internet in December last year, fans have never been able to get enough of the two hot actors. This crossover from Bollywood to Hollywood has left her fans excited and intrigued at the same time. Though the Tamasha actor's role in XXX franchise has still been kept under wraps, her look in the film has already set the bar of expectation pretty high.

Photos from the sets of film have become a daily dose of entertainment for enthusiastic fans. Every move, every still, every video from the sets is adding a new chapter to Deepika's much-hyped Hollywood debut.

Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone’s bonding that is evident in the Pinga song from Bajirao Mastani. It’s got all to do with their friendship that dates back to the time when Deepika Padukone entered the industry. Priyanka was the first film person revealed Deepika and said She was a huge star. She was the first friend she made. The two actors were so comfortable shooting for Pinga song that it troubled a few people because it went against what a lot of people thought it would be , The actors thought that the People expected there would be a lot of tension regarding what the actors wearing. It was completely different .

Like soul sisters, Priyanka and Deepika would be there for each other always on sets. The actors would encourage each other if there was something difficult. There were days when the duo wanted to give up and there were days when the duo came in with the same kind of energy. It’s been a lot of fun for the two of them to work together. Deepika had earlier said that her co-star Priyanka was her first friend before she made her acting debut in Bollywood.
The Piku star has her own set of friends who are not from the industry.

The duo have even appeared together on Koffee with Karan and they seemed to be all praise for each other. Deepika's film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela and is currently shooting for Bajirao Mastani, which also features Deepika. the two seemed to bond well on the sets of this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film and were often spotted laughing and chatting on sets.
