Bollywood’s
top diva, Deepika Padukone, is the daughter of India’s former badminton
champion, Mr. Prakash Padukone. He got initiated into Badminton by his father
Mr. Ramesh Padukone
Deepika’s mom is more
concerned about the safety of her younger daughter Anisha as she needs to
travel to Delhi regularly due to her Golf tournaments.
Mrs.
Padukone is extremely stylish and has been a fashion icon in the actress’s
life. Deepika has picked up her mom’s style statement – keeping one’s look simple is a fashion
nuance.
Deepika always calls up her family after each of her movie release to
know what they think. Anisha, is a harsh critic and tells it right away if she
does not like her performance in any movie. She did not enjoy Chennai Express and
she told Deepika that it’s not her kind of movie.
Padukone
shares a close bond with her family, and visits them regularly in her hometown
of Bangalore. Deepika has also been outspoken on issues such as feminism.In a 2015
interview, Padukone spoke about her personal experience of overcoming depression, and
in October that year she launched a foundation to create awareness on mental
health in India, named "Live Love Laugh”.
