Its Cricket Time!!!!!!!

Its Cricket season everybody!!!! Yes, many cricket matches are lined up and we were able to spot some celebrities here and there which adds delight to our eyes. With celebrity cricket league and IPL lining up, we have our eyes open for cricket(and some hot men :P ).the celebrities aswell. We have been watching and hearing a lot about Deepika Padukone in the cricket field. So we scoop up some of Deepika’s moments on and off field which shows us how much she is involved with cricket.

This was during the early years of Dippy when she presents India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni with the Team of the Year award at the Sahara India Sports Awards, in Mumbai, on November 10, 2009.

We saw her on field playing cricket for the promotion of her movie Housefull. . We know that she comes from a sporting family - her father, Prakash Padukone, is regarded as one of India's greatest ever badminton players. The actor herself is an active shuttler but watching her playing cricket is something new.

The hunk on field, Yuvraj Singh was also many times spotted with the actress at various hotels and restaurants. Though the cricketer and the actress never made an official public appearance, their mannerisms and Deepika’s presence on field said it all.

Deepika was many a time spotted with Siddharth Mallya, son of Vijay Mallya while actively supporting his IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore. They even attended a few award functions and various other events together.

Deepika Padukone and Neha Dhupia adored the new cricket jerseys of the Indian cricket team for the One-Day International (ODI) formats. The sports manufacturing company Nike launched the new Indian cricket kit for 50-over formats, ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. The jersey launch was trending on Twitter with the #BleedBlue hashtag. "As a cricket fan and active athlete, I felt a great sense of pride when I first put on the national team jersey. Cricket is the biggest sport in India and the passion for the game is incredible across the country. Like every cricket fan, I look forward to great success for Team India in 2015," Deepika said.

She was spotted in the field with Amitabh Bachchan and Imran Khan for the promotion of their movie Piku, which was rocking the box office.
