THE REEL CYCLE 3

We have the middle segment of the Deepika's reel cycle with post. Hasn't she put a lot of work into these movies?

So let's continue our journey on this cycle. Third cycle goes like this:

Kalpana Dutta
11. Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey

Deepika portrays the character of Kalpana Datta. It showcases the grit and determination of the women of 1930's. These were times when women were not allowed to participate in freedom movements. But here is a lady who braved all odds and took the gun in her hands to fight for the country.

12. Dum Maaro Dum
Deepika appeared in the dance number ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ for this movie.

Poorbi
13. Aarakshan

Deepika plays the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter, Poorbi Anand, who is also Saif Ali Khan’s love interest in the film.  Poorbi’s personality and persona are shaped by the relationships in her life – her daughter, a girlfriend, a friend and a student.  In essence, the film is about the impact that the issue of reservation has on a multitude of relationships and how this tests each of them.

Radhika Awasthi

14. Desi Boyz

Radhika Awasthi (Deepika Padukone) had been shown as Nick’s (John Abraham) girlfriend in this movie, who dreams of a lovely wedding, a great honeymoon and a wonderful house to live in after marriage. The movie portrays how they split because of the hidden truth that Nick was an escort and how he wins her back.

Veronica D'costa

15. Cocktail

Veronica has grown up in a broken family so she has not got the conventional love of parents. She is feisty but not a rebel. She is a super confident girl who craves for attention. She is a girl who is out there to have fun and enjoy herself.
She is not apologetic about herself and is looking for stability because she has not had that in her life. At the same time, she is very emotional.

It is clearly portrayed that she has grown to sporting more looks and styles and making them appear as they were meant for Deepika. But don't forget to follow, there's more coming up. Thank you.
